Welcome to The Brook Student Ministry! We are a student ministry for grades 6-12. We meet for Sunday School at 9:15 and for Youth Worship at 6pm on Wednesday nights. Whether you are brand new to the ministry, or have been a part of it for years, we want you to know a few things about us!
Mission Statement, Goal, and Commitment
Church Mission Statement: We exist to glorify God as we love Him and make disciples.
Ministry Goal: Psalm 84:6- As they go through
the Valley of Baca (wilderness,wasteland)
they make it a place of springs.
Our goal is to be a student ministry that
brings springs of Living Water
into the desert wastelands of this world (our schools, clubs, sports teams, homes, and work places);
to comfort the wounded,
bring healing to the hurting,
a home for the lonely,
and salvation for the lost
through the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
by the power of His Spirit.
We will commit ourselves to:
1. Faithfully teaching, hearing, and responding to the Word of God
2. Being discipled and making disciples
3. Building a community that is Christ-centered
so that others will see Jesus glorified and exalted
by how we love one another.
We believe that faith in Jesus is a lifelong commitment and that God’s ultimate purpose for our life is to make us look more like Jesus, and that is really, really good news for us! Our desire is that your time in this student ministry would be a way in which God makes you look more like Christ as you spend time with friends, play goofy games, and worship, pray, and sit under the teaching of God’s Word.
Parents, I send out regular emails detailing upcoming events. I would love to put you on that email list as it is one of the best ways I can mass-communicate with parents. To be put on that list, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know the name of your youth in the ministry.
